As part of the Student Development Initiative at KIMS, Students, accompanied by Principal Prof. Dr. Mashhood uz Zafar Farooq, represented CMH Malir at the Army Blood Donation Camp held at the DOHS Phase-I Community Centre. The event was a joint initiative of CMH Malir and Station Headquarters Malir Cantt.

The students received a detailed briefing from Dr. Agha Umer Daraz Khan, Chief Pathologist at Hussaini Blood Bank, covering essential aspects of blood bank operations, the blood donation process, blood preservation methods, and the benefits of voluntary blood donation. The session was highly educational and interactive. KIMS students participated actively and expressed great enthusiasm, finding the experience both informative and inspiring — particularly from the perspective of medical knowledge and career growth.

Principal Prof. Dr. Mashhood uz Zafar Farooq praised the students for their commitment and announced that Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded to all participants in recognition of their valuable contribution.

Future collaborations between Hussaini Blood Bank and KIMS, aimed at providing students with enhanced learning opportunities and real-world exposure was also agreed.
